Stickers are issued through the Town Clerk’s office for a fee of $2.00 each. The hours of the Town Clerk’s office are Mondays 9am-6pm, Tuesdays and Wednesdays 8am-4pm and the last Saturday of the month form 9am-noon.
PLEASE do not add metal or glass to your MSW as this increases the cost of disposal.
We have separate sections as follows:
- Aluminum Cans ONLY
- Tin cans (soup cans)
- Glass
- Cardboard (no paper)
- Metal (see attendant)
Plastic can be mixed with Municipal Solid Waste.
Please see our Disposal Fee Schedule for all items that require disposal fees.
Yes - The following items are accepted for our compost pile
- Leaves
- Lawn Clippings
- Wood Chips
- Vegetable Scraps
- Fruit Scraps
- Eggshells
NO MEAT
We encourage residents to take home finished compost for gardening.
Always ask attendant if you have any questions regarding Hazardous Waste Disposal.
Here is a brief list of what we do accept.
- Paint is accepted in solid form
- Oil, Propane, Gas (see attendant)
- Antifreeze in small amounts
Yes - We accept branches up to 5" in diameter.
Lawn clippings and wood chips go to compost pile.
We require a call ahead prior to accepting brush as we need to monitor the size of our burn pile.
We accept leaves ONLY for compost purposes.
Yes - we have a give and take table and a give and take room.

- Pallets (see attendant)
- Furniture
- Mattresses
